I test this process and it works very well.
Thank you

Re: Opening a 20-sim model (.emx) stored not in C with scrip

Hello Paul, Thank you for your help. I could have started my matlab script for a folder different from the 20simscripting folder thanks to you tips. Here you can find the matlab code : scriptpath = pwd; addpath(genpath(scriptpath)); workingpath= fullfile('C:','Users', 'Benjamin','20simscripting','li...

Re: Protect background image of models

OK. Thank you. So, indeed it is more convenient to store the background image in the same folder as the 20-sim model. And, what about the protection about the access to the background image ? In other words, it is possible to encrypt / or block the access of the background image in order to prevent ...

Separate data inputs available in script from 20-sim model

On that topic, I would like to more separate my data input from my model. At the moment, I can define the value of a 20-sim model with scripting. But, in fact, when i use the function XXsetparameters the value of the parameters defined in my script overwrite the values of the parameters of my 20-sim...

Protect background image of models

Hello, In my 20-sim models, I have added in the background image the coordinates of my lab. In that purpose, i added static bitmap in the background image of my model. I would like to protect this backimage image from modifications. So, on this sense, I have several questions : 1) As the link to the...

Visualize SIDOPS code

Hello, For my culture, I would like to see how some BG elements are coded in SIDOPS. For example, in BORUTZKY book "Bond graph methodology", the SIDOPS code of some elements is given. http://zupimages.net/up/14/49/ehsn.gif How is it possible in 20-sim to visualize the complete SIDOPS code of an elem...

creation and use of dll in 20-sim

Hello, I have a function in Maple which enables me to determine geometric parameters. I wonder if i can use it in 20-sim. Is the use of dll a good idea to use code from different languages/ and softwares in 20-sim ? If you think it is possible, may you precise me the main steps for doing this proces...

Re: Create a movie but for a plot

Hello, I have noticed an upgrade in the 4.5 version on this topic "Plots and 3D animations can be shown in Full Screen Mode". I have tried to experiment this in the new bond graph example (Trolley with load). So, I can now visualize the plots and 3D animations in the same time. Is it possible to mak...

problem with energy variables created

Hello, If I'm not mistaken, the variables linked to the energy total_dissipation_energy, total_source_energy, total_storage_energy don't give a result after having launched the "check energetic behaviour" function (Perhaps, it is me who makes a bad manipulation). However, I have also tried with a si...

Re: Adding mathtype objects

OK. I understand your constraints to have a important compatibily with many different OS. And what about the use of .tex format ? In matlab or many forums, to enter some equations in a proper form, it is often proposed the tex format. This format is (I believe) compatible with many OS and softwares.

Possibility to attach 20-sim model to a post

Hello,

If I'm not mistaken, it is not possible to attach some 20-sim models to a post.
A suggestion is so the possibility to attach some 20-sim models.
I think that it can be useful to direct explain its issue through a short example in a 20-sim model.

About chirp signal - 2

Hello, In my model, I use a vertical force with a chirp signal. I have tested my excitation with two different solvers RK4 and MBDF. Result with RK4 : http://zupimages.net/up/14/42/3scg.gif Result with MBDF : http://zupimages.net/up/14/42/u25q.gif Question: I suppose this aspect comes from the fact ...

timeevent with iterative process

Hello, In a model, I programmed a little algorithm (gradient algorithm). This algorithm is not complex but it works with discrete time in a continuous simulation. So, I would like to use the timeevent function each 2s (for example) in my model and for this time, I would like to calculte my algorithm...

power sensor 2 - keep power sensor in the model

Hello, I continue the subject of power sensor but with another remark. I could obtain the energetic variables with a script in matlab but I would like to progress to have a process more systematic. One point which is not convenient with the "check energetic behaviour" is the fact that even if you sa...

Re: Simulation time estimation

Thank you for your clear answer.
I recently thought about this solution with a matlab script and I'm trying to do this solution at the moment. I think this solution should answer perfectly to my need. I will keep you informed about it.
Thank you for your help.
