Simulation plot window contents is not preserved

Postby Ludo Visser » Tue Aug 23, 2011 8:42 am

In a complicated model, I will have many simulation plot windows. They often have different sizes to accommodate the different number of plots that each of them contains. For example, a plot window containing 4 plots would be twice as high as a window containing only 2 plots.

Expected behavior
When I open various simulation plot windows, each of different size and containing different plots, I expect them to open in the same way when I open the simulator at a different time.

Observed behavior
If I have three plot windows (say, A, B, C), then on reopening the model the size and position of each window is as it was when I quit 20-sim before, but the contents is not. Only the contents of the main simulator window A is preserved, while the contents of B and C is swapped arbitrarily.

Version
20-sim 4.1.3.4 (Windows XP)

Additional detail: This seems to happen only when you add or remove simulation plot windows between subsequent openings of the model.
