Changing 3D Animations does not set model state to "unsaved"

Post by Ludo Visser » Thu Sep 08, 2011 5:57 pm

Expected behavior
When I change something in a 3D Animation scenery, I either expect it to be auto-saved, or 20-sim should ask me to save when I try to quit with saving. This is easily forgotten, as the the 3D Animation window does not have a save button.

Observed behavior
Changes to 3D Animations are lost when the program is quit without saving. The program does not ask if I want to save my changes.

Version
20-sim 4.1.3.4 (Windows XP)

Side note
When I open a model and only inspect a submodel without changing anything, i.e. going down on level in the model structure, 20-sim incorrectly marks this as a change, and asks to save the model when quitting.

Hi Ludo,

This indeed is a bug and Thanks for pointing it out for us!

In fact, a fix for this including a much more handy plot management system is in progess for the next version of 20sim (20sim 4.2)
