With the Logging Active button displayed:

logging will be active during the running of the Scenario. After a run is complete, you can inspect the log, by clicking on an Action. Now the log of that Action will be displayed below the Action.

Inspecting the log is useful to see if an action was carried out properly. If an Action fails (e.g. file cannot be found, no writing permission,..), the cause will be displayed in the log.
